Today mommy and Emily had lunch at a Yudi's house. Yudi is just 7 months older, but he can have a conversation! Emily just uses a few words and a lot of jibber jabber. They will be in the same grade in school, so she has a bit of catching up to do. You can do it Emily!

Emily must have been pretty tired...she fell asleep sitting in the shopping cart! Once Emily fell asleep, mommy was hesitant to wake her up, so she took her time slowly walking the store to let the princess rest peacefully in her chariot. It took the blast of cold air once they went outside after check-out to wake her up.

At today's playgroup, Emily discovered this interesting toy with lots of keys and locks. She was fascinated by it for quite some time and almost missed out on parachute and singing with the other kids. Mommy had to bribe her with the possibility of making play dough cookies to tear her away from here.

Emily and mommy went shopping today - mommy characterized it as 'nightmare shopping'. Emily was just running around the store like a little terror doing whatever she wanted. She stopped on this aisle to feed some dogs. She knows this routine from watching Captain Greg and Lucy enjoy their dinner. Burf!

Today's Nantucket lesson was at Tomiko-san's house. Everybody brought some food and we had Nabe for lunch after a hard morning of basket weaving. The munchkins played nicely while the mommies were making their baskets.

Hiromi took Emily to the Dr. this morning to check on her cough and runny nose. At this point, I think she realizes that she's seen these toys before and it's an ominous sign. Jabs are sure to follow....she's keeping an eye out for that Dr. with the wild hair and wild eyes....and I'm not talking about Dr. Emmett Brown!

I finally found a screwdriver small enough to open the battery case on this toy Emily has had for a while. She hadn't used it before so daddy had to show her the proper use and handling of a microphone. Oddly enough, she didn't want to rock the mic - she kept passing it back to daddy.

Emily is trying to look a little more European these days. Here she put together a Parisian inspired ensemble and really tweaks the look with her nit cap folded inside and pushed to the side.
