Welcome back/Final Farewell party

Tonight we had a welcome back to Japan for one of our friends from Singapore who just moved back yesterday - and at the same time, this party was a final farewell party for us. It's always hard to say goodbye to good friends, but since we all met in Singapore and knew that we had to have farewells then - it made it somehow easier to say farewell to them again, this time in Japan. We don't really have any more time to spare as the movers come day after tomorrow! We have a doctor's appointment to check up on Jr. and then it's elbows deep in packing prep. Blog entries may get a bit sparse once the computer gear gets packed up, but I still have my laptop and will try to maintain updates. Hiromi always sends me a daily 'Hiromi's News Update' when I'm traveling, so I'm sure that I'll have plenty of content to track Jr.'s progress from a distance. Perhaps I'll even get her to write a few blog entries! Countdown to moving day: 5 days
