Move Prep

We are now in the final 2 weeks of our Tokyo life and have begun the final process of preparing for the physical move. We will be sending stuff to the US in two separate shipments, a small initial shipment by air (mostly clothes and immediate needs) and another by sea (everything else). In addition, we have to send stuff to Osaka for Hiromi while she stays there. To make things even more complicated, we have all our summer clothes now because it's still hot but we have to prepare and pack winter clothes since it gets pretty damn cold in Osaka and Boston. On top of that, we have to prepare baby stuff and figure out whether to buy in Japan and carry to the US, buy now and ship to the US, or wait and buy in the US....it's rather complicated - but we'll get it sorted. I've been meaning to put up a baby registry for folks that want to contribute gifts, but I have a hundred things on my plate at the moment. I'll try to get to it soon, but we still have time - so hold on to your wallets for now! Later, we'll be asking you to dig deep into your hearts and into your wallets for our little cutie. Tomorrow, I'm thinking I might post THE NAME! Stay tuned....
